My post, for those who don't want to click, suggested XM Radio as something that will be hilariously dated. I did not consider, nor did I know, about the connectivity advantages in the Rockies and such. I've encountered connectivity issues with my phone quite a bit, without even being in a rural setting. But let's look down the road a bit.
Consider where our capabilities for mobile data were just five years ago. Now look at today. Have those conditions improved? Yes? No?
Of course they have. If technology doesn't improve it shouldn't be made mainstream. But it has and every cell phone carrier loves to brag about coverage. The QOTD says to consider the future and nobody is when they respond to suggestions. I don't feel like justifying my suggestion any more so maybe I'll just post this in response from now on.
End of rant. Have a rally car.

With regards to your rant, I hope so.
I used to like XM, but then I realized the sound quality was awful compared to normal radio or Pandora. I'm ready for it to die.
